Passaic County 24 Hour Booking Through Shared Services

Passaic County closed its own jail and entered a 10-year shared services deal with Bergen County. Under this plan, most Passaic County inmates go to the Bergen County Corrections and Rehabilitation Center at 160 South River Street in Hackensack. Some inmates are also held at the Hudson County Correctional Center at 30-35 Hackensack Avenue in Kearny. Both sites run intake around the clock, so Passaic County booking records are created at all hours.

This setup means that when someone is arrested in Paterson, Clifton, Wayne, or any other Passaic County town, the arresting officers transport that person to one of these two host jails. The booking takes place there. Staff at the host facility log the charges, take prints, and capture a photo. All of this data goes into the host county's jail management system rather than a Passaic County database. As a result, you must search Bergen County or Hudson County records to find Passaic County booking data.

Passaic County 24 Hour Booking Inmate Lookup Details

When you search for a Passaic County inmate through the Bergen County portal, the results display a range of booking details. Each record includes the person's name, date of birth, gender, race, and booking number. You can also view the charges, bond amounts, housing unit, and release information when it applies. These details come from the booking process that takes place when the person first arrives at the Bergen County facility.
